Describe the assistance you need
Tell the provider whether you can transfer to a vehicle seat, whether a wheelchair folds and what space or boarding assistance you need. Share equipment dimensions when requested. Ask for confirmation of the vehicle and arrangements.
Separate airport assistance from road transport
Assistance inside an airport and assistance from a road-transfer provider are separate arrangements. Contact your airline or airport for the terminal service and the transport provider for the vehicle and meeting point.
Check the full journey
Include the route between arrivals and the meeting point, boarding, luggage and access at your destination. If using public transport, consult current lift and station-access information. Do not rely on a generic accessibility badge.
Questions before you travel
Can I assume every private transfer is wheelchair accessible?
No. Confirm the required vehicle and boarding arrangements with the provider before paying.
